Tom Ford is a fashion house, founded in 2005, known for its very expensive, sought-after clothes. Higher quality is hard to find in ready-to-wear.

Here's a striking dark suit that will serve any occasion.

Size 50EU, but due to its slim fit, it best fits a size 48. The suit has large seam allowances, which means it can be easily adjusted by a seamstress.

Made responsibly in Italy, the cut is called Basic Base B. The front has a 3-roll-2 cut, meaning only the centre button is closed.

The inside of the jacket has a full canvas construction for comfort and breathability.

In excellent condition throughout. No holes, odour or stains. The seams of the trouser seams are loose, but a seamstress or relative will easily fix them. One sleeve button is broken, but can be replaced with a button from the breast pocket, for example.

The jacket has a standard shoulder construction, peak  lapels, large flap pockets, two back vents, a ticket pocket, a hand-stitched buttonhole on the collar, decorative stitching, full lining, buttons cowhide, lining 50% silk and 50% cupro.

The fabric is 100% navy blue wool, thin and smooth and comfortable. All fabrics used by Tom Ford are woven exclusively for the company.

The trousers feature side adjusters, strong waist construction, turn-ups, decorative stitching and a flat front, so no pleats. No belt loops either.
